On this poster I choose three landscapes and set them as the background and I separated them by a black line.

The Three Japanese Tankas were my favorite. I liked them because they were short but very powerful. How you can see the picture in your head when she said “… on broad you drifting ship/ not a day has passed/ that i haven’t been drenched/ in cold waves.” You can see her on a boat getting all wet but the deeper meaning is that he just keep going back to his old ways and didn’t change.
Another example is “how sad that i hope/ to see you now…” she still wants to see him and misses him. “…after life has emptied itself/ like a stalk of a grain/ into the autumn winds.” you can see the empty husk but he means after he has left her and the time has gone by. these are two of the reasons why I liked the Three Japanese Tankas.
BEYOND PiX;
On our visit to Beyond Pix I learned a lot about their media company. Beyond Pix is a very colorful place and it looks like a good working environment. I saw a lot of computer work with graphics and sound. I would like to work at a place like Beyond Pix because it looks
Like a fun enjoyable place. Two things that caught my attention were that they use the same programs that we use in DSA and something else I learn was that you have to start from the production assistants and work your way up.
Beyond Pix is a very colorful place and big. It has a lot of little rooms where people work on there project assignments. The working environment looked really friendly and like a family. It seems like they are really close. Everyone was doing there own thing and putting it together to make the big picture. Everyone did a little of everything. They used a lot of team work to get things done.
I would love to work at a place like Beyond Pix because it seems like it would be easy as long as you stayed concentrated and on tack. Doing something I really like to do and with people that I get along with would be great. It seem like everyone is treated equally no matter how much experience they have or if they are just starting out. It’s like a family and everyone puts an effort in for it to work. They enjoy spending time together. I would love to have a job like that.
It was really cool to learn that we use the same programs as professionals. That we are learning to do what they do with the same programs. I also learned that you have to start form that bottom and go up. No matter how much education you get it really doesn’t matter first you start out doing little stuff and work your way up.
The visit to Beyond Pix was really helpful. I got a lot of information about the industry and there jobs there. I enjoyed the tour and had a lot of fun. This was a really good way to get information on jobs in that media industry.
-Reflection
From our visit to U.C. Berkeley I learned about the campus, and the programs they offer. I also learned about the students living situation. The tour we went on was really interesting because of all the facts that the tour guide told us. It was really cool how we got to learn about the buildings and their history. I really wanted to see a class in session but we did not get to see one. I was kind of disappointed that we did not get to. I like how the tour guide would tell us about their schools traditions.
From our visit to U.C. Berkeley I learned that the students that attend there come from all over the state and country. U.C. Berkeley is a very diverse school there are all types of people that go there. I also learned a lot about the classes and the faculty.
The classes very in size from 20 to hundreds of people. You have to make an appointment to meet with the faculty. You should study for at least three hours for each class in a week. There are dorms both girls and boys to share or just for girls and the other just for just guys. There is also community living and sororities for girls and fraternities for guy. Most people do end up having roommate unless they can afford to pay double for the room. U.C. Berkeley has a health clinic for if their students get sick they could go there and see what wrong. There I no reason to stay on campus on the weekends.
The visit to U.C. Berkeley was very useful. I learned a lot about college life. We talked to the former D.S.A. students it was very insightful and they gave good information on what it is like. They said that D.S.A. was very helpful because it really did prepare them for college life. I really learned a lot and enjoyed myself on our visit.

Soo at the beginning we were using photoshop to fixing pictures. Then we started taking pictures that was fun and fixing them with photoshop.
oh and the history of our family was really cool. I got to learn a lot about my mom and dad and my family. They told me a lot that i don’t really ever get to hear about the thing that they went through. It was hard because i was procrastinated but i’m gald that i got it done.
and it was cool how we got to make our own alum cover i really liked mine.
now we are doing 3D that is really frustrating it looks cool but its hard.

I am thankful for CRYSTAL she is supper supportive and there for me. Like most of my cousins I don’t even talk to them because we don’t get along but me and her it is so different. like I tell her everything and we get along so well since we were little she would sleepover my house almost every weekend. We are really close and she is really honest and tells me when i am wrong and will make me think about what i am going to do before i go it and yea love her so much!

I am thankful for Carmen Acosta because she has always been there for me when i needed her the most . She is one of the people that i would be lost without because she never held back and said it how is was. I have known her since the first grade and middle school we got really close. She is one of the only people other then family that has kept it real. love her to death.<3
